Character Instance Counter

Do you have an essay, story, or other bulk of text in front of you?

Do you want to see how many times the letter "A" appears? Or "B" Or... even "C"?

Count every letter in the English alphabet, separated by capital versus lowercase, and some punctuation in this Character Instance Counter made in *Excel.

*This is a document and not an executable file. Open with Microsoft Office Excel for best experience. But it should work with other spreadsheet programs such as LibreOffice Calc, but this is untested. Microsoft also has a free software called Microsoft Excel Viewer that should allow you to open the file and view it and put text in, but this is untested as well at the moment. You will likely be unable to save any changes, but the file is not really meant to be saved. Details on editing, saving, or otherwise modifying the document are in the "ReadMe" sheet of the workbook, along with some other (potentially?) helpful information.
